Breaking the Fourth Wall

Weeeee're back with the thread where authors and characters alike can pull up a chair, get comfortable, and complain about each other to their heart's content! The bar's stocked with pretty much whatever you can think up, the fire's lit, and everyone's welcome. Characters be warned though: authors do have pretty much limitless power here just like they do in the rest of your life, so revenge is probably not a good idea.

"YEEEESSSS!" Hotaru cheered, dancing.

Buggy hi-fived Hotaru. "Yeah, I figured I couldn't put it off any longer."

Twist flailed into the thread, happy to see it back. "HI HOTARU!" she added enthusiastically.

Lady walked in, surprised. "Why was this not up before?" she wondered. "And this time, we'll only ever have one! Yay!"

"HOORAY FOR EVERYONE!" Buggy high-fived Twist and Lady. Then Hotaru again for good measure.

"Hooray indeed," Lady said, then yawned. "This week is not going to be a good one. I'll catch you folks later." She toddled off to bed, but not before returning Buggy's Hi-5.

Hotaru squeed when she was hi-fived twice and felt all special and stuff.

Twist crept back into the thread with the new day... evening. "Hello?" she called curiously.

"TWIIIIIST!" Twist was glomped.

Hotaru helped Twist up. "Good to see you too! What have you been up to?"

"I've been watching stuff on youtube and watching my skinks being athletic in the background," Twist said, getting up with Hotaru's help. "What're you up to?"

Hotaru poked the thread. "Anyone around?"

Lucifer smirked, "Yeah I'm always around."

Broadway rolled her eyes, "Unfortunately..."

"Hey Broadway!" Hotaru chirped.

"Hey Hotaru!" Broadway glomped her.

"Hiya, Hotaru," Clary said with a smile.

Hotaru was glomped. She giggled. "Nice to see you both. How have you been?"

Elewa poked her head into the thread. "Are you sure this is the place, honey?"

Andrew sighed, peeved. "Yes, for the millionth time I'm sure." He waved to the others. "Hey y'all, what's happenin?"

"What's happening is that having a life is hard." Buggy smiled ruefully as she entered the room again. "I'm here now though. How is every/anyone doing?"
