Should I be notified of my validation?
Hi everyone,
I validated on 25th since that was when it said that winning started, but I have a way of destroying computers so I don't know whether it worked. Are you supposed to get some sort of notification?

You were supposed to be redirected to a page as soon as you submitted your text. I see your purple bar, so it did work. You can go back to that page by going to "My NaNoWriMo" and clicking on "Collect Winner Goodies" (second link down)

I don't see any purple bars on anyone else's or on mine! What am I missing?

I can see your purple bar, jobydog, so don't worry! I think it's a glitch with certain systems.

Ah yes, thank you both A.L More and Coffeetailor. I couldn't see the purple bar either, but now I can.

You missed the validation deadline. If your bar is blue, you didn't validate on time.
Have no fear! We're not going going to leave you behind.
