      <description>Is it allowed to write a novel for a series that has multiple authors?</description>

      <description>It depends what you mean by multiple authors.

If it's one author to one book, then it's fine. The challenge is to wrote a novel, and if that novel happens to be part of a series, then that's still fine.

However, if multiple authors are writing the same one book together, then no, it's not allowed.</description>

      <description>I meant that different authors write for the series but each book only has one author. If that's the case, would it be allowed to write for a series that already exists?</description>

      <description>Like the &lt;em&gt;Star Trek&lt;/em&gt; book series. They are all about the same characters and series and stuff, but each book is written by a different author.

Doing this is perfectly okay for Nano.</description>
