Am I in the wrong genre?

I hope someone gives it a little time and tell me if my novel's a bit mislabeled. It's got some fantasy/supernatural stuff in it (magical realism? I can't really decide)

Humor is a pretty broad genre. I didn't read your whole excerpt, but from what I read it seemed like a rather humorous tone. I think it belongs here.
