Cartoon infection

I'm tinkering with a secondary story where a cartoonist has inadvertantly created a disease in his cartoon that is capable of infecting the audiance. The infection in the cartoon does something that can only happen in the cartoon world (like holding back a sneeze inflates the characters head like a baloon). But after being infected people in our world can do something cartoony.

It's really juat a way to combine the idea of something like super humans and cartoon science in the real world.

But I'm trying to remember the lonney tunes gags that involve impossible things. Like running off cliffs and not falling until you notice. portable holes, climbing past the top of ladders ect.

can anyone think of some examples.

If they get hit with something the shape of it remains on them?

Stubbing a toe causes it to grow to about the size of the person's whole foot.

Arthritis or something leads to people hving joints that actually squeak as badly as a chair that hasn't been oiled in ages. (Oh, this would be a good one, I bet.)

When they see something they like their eyes suddenly turn heart-shaped. (No more spouses wondering if the other really noticed that person who walked by :-)

Thoguht of another one - when the person eats something hot, real fire shoots from his or her mouth.

Also, how about real smoke able to come out a person's ears.

Dinner Deformation. You swallow something big, and your throat changes shape.

Okay tobasco chugging fire breather,

Rubber digestive system.

air walking/climbing.

Those could be fun. I'm going to hit youtube for ssome tom and jerry and see what they do.

Someone walks off a cliff (or gets a hotfoot) and doesn't notice until he looks down.

You get fun over and you can walk around all flattened.

First, I love this idea. I'm jealous I didn't think of it first ;)

Character shrinks to a few inches when embarrassed/guilty.

When sick, character's face turns completely green.

When scared or surprised (like someone jumping out at them), they hit the ceiling/go through the roof.

When someone hits character over the head with an object, it stays in his skull. OK, this needs explaining. Like in Looney Tunes, Tweety hits Sylvester with an axe, and then Sylvester walks around with the axe handle through his ears. Do you know what I mean?

When character is thinking about doing something bad, either a devil and an angel sit on each shoulder telling him what to do, OR a loud voice starts speaking in public where others can hear it, saying 'this is your conscience'

Depending on the cartoon, sometimes when a character is thinking, a thought bubble appears over his head. Can you imagine if a person was walking around, and didn't know everyone was reading his thoughts?

Character hits his nose (or someone punches him), and the nose flaps up and down.
