How to drive weeping angels away from a Muse concert? (Doctor who fans?)

This is kind of a strange mashup of Doctor Who, Harry Potter and the Hunger Games. They're in the TARDIS, and Katniss wants to hear Uprising live, since she lead an uprising herself. So they go to a Muse concert. :D

So the plot goes that some idiot decided to sketch a bunch of weeping angels and bring their sketchbook to a Muse concert. When he opens it, the angels come to life, since anything that takes the image of an angel becomes an angel. Now the angels are killing everybody, and I need a way the Doctor can save them.

He has the Daleks on his side, since the Daleks are against President Snow, but would that work against angels? Plus, he can't kill the audience, band, his group of random "warriors" (Hunger Games rebels, Dumbledore's Army, 10th doctor's companions, and some characters from a school he was a sub at, who are 12) . Any ideas?

Re: How to drive weeping angels away from a Muse concert? (Doctor who fans?)

You may have to remind me of exactly how the weeping angels work, but it seems to me that a concert would be a difficult attack site for them, since the chance that in a dense crowd, no one is looking at them at any given moment, seems slim. Too many eyes.

Now, the Daleks might actually be susceptible to them--can they be said to 'see'?

It also seems to me that the Harry Potter characters might be able to work with something. Eyes literally in the back of one's head?

These are TEENY angels, since they came from a sketchbook. They're small enough to slip under the seats, and since people's attention is on the band and not their feet, nobody sees them. Nobody really notices them until they attack.

When they do attack, only three are on the stage. The rest are attacking everybody else. So the ones on the stage do get to move a little. Enough to cause quite a bit of chaos.

Hmmm. What are they doing damage with, if they're that small?

There are two Doctors, the tenth and the eleventh. They have the Eleventh's sonic screwdriver and are screwing with the volume. and other stuff.

Have the band play music that weeping angels wouldn't like. Something ludicrously cheerful and completely devoid of emo-ness. "Don't Worry Be Happy" comes to mind, or the "Hokey Pokey"...

Re: How to drive weeping angels away from a Muse concert? (Doctor who fans?)

I think the angels would still be full-size. That one on the video tape came out of the TV full-size. They'd just treat it like they were some distance back and walk (or whatever) forward until they were the right size and then come out of the sketchbook. If they were tiny, they would just keep doing what they do normally--send people back in time and take their energy. People wouldn't notice people dying; they would notice the people right next to them suddenly not being there anymore. And to solve the issue of people seeing them, if they were full-size, the angels would go for the lights (if it was an indoor concert) or just leave and find easier prey (if it was outdoors). They're clever.

The thing is, we've never seen a way to actually kill the angels. One set got tricked into looking at each other forever and the other group was tricked into a rip in time such that they never existed. Either one of those would be difficult to pull off in this setting. The wizards might try blowing them up, but we don't know if that would kill them or just make a lot of even smaller angels, or if they would heal themselves once they were out of sight again. The Hunger Games rebels might have explosives too, and would get the hang of not looking away from the angels while they were setting up to kill them. The question is, who would look in their eyes--because someone would. Especially if they're tiny, there's not much else to look at.

Hold on, when you say Ten's companions, does that include Donna and Rose? How is Donna there without her head exploding, and how is Rose there at all?

The Daleks are tricky. It's totally up to you whether they can be counted as seeing the angels or not. If they can, though, cameras probably can too--and you have a problem if any cameras get a glimpse of an angel, since they will have then taken the image of an angel. Either way, the Daleks really can't do anything. They can't plunger the angels to death or laser them to death, because if a Dalek is looking at them, they're already not alive.

The best way, I think, would be to make up a frequency that will shatter the stone the angels are made of, and then use Ten's sonic screwdriver to manipulate the sound system so it blasts that frequency at a high volume, shattering the angels in one go.

Although, another question--why are the angels messing with the sound system? We're meat to them. Tiny or not, they should be trying to feed off us. All they have to do is touch us, and if no one's looking at them and they're at a crowded place like a concert, that should be about five times as easy as it already was.

Re: How to drive weeping angels away from a Muse concert? (Doctor who fans?)

1)Sorry, forgot Rose. She isn't there.
Martha and Donna are there. This, from Donna's point of view, is before that episode- right after she meets the Doctor for the second time, in whats-the-name-of-that-episode... "partners in crime?" I think, anyways. The Doctor calls up Martha once he realizes something is seriously messed up with the universe.
2)They're messing with the sound because... well, it's rather complicated, but basically, they actually aren't hungry. Lord Voldemort and the Master have bonded with the Angels- in return for their help, they'll give them food. The people at the concert aren't that food.
Basically, Muse is on the Doctor's side. They're very powerful, since they have a lot of fans who fight for them. Because of that fact, the Master has ordered the Angels to kill Muse, knowing that it will not only eliminate an enemy (phrasing this as the Master would, sorry) but since they're famous, it will show the world their power, and hopefully they'll go to them. Plus, since the fans are also on the Doctor's side, they've been ordered to kill as many as possible.
Also, the Daleks are only on the Doctor's side because Voldemort threatened them. Just to avoid confusion.
