I finally finished my Nano 2011 novel. This is an important milestone because I have not finished a novel in several years. Ever since I got together with my boyfriend, and then moved in with him, the ideas are there, but the finishing has not been.
It ended up being just shy of 60K words. Now to put that away for a bit, and return to #2 in my series and start editing.
I finally have two completed drafts of novels, but there are so many more that I'm still working on. I was hoping to complete draft 2 of my last Nano novel this month, but instead I have a half-finished draft of that one and two more WIPs that I started and one more plot bunny that's begging to be written. Still...better than not having any ideas! :)
Congratulations! :D Good luck on your noveling endeavors! Busy editing my novels as well...I'm definitely a proponent of "edit it yourself," at least until your plot is completely fixed and all you need is diction/grammar editing (i.e. why have an editor edit a novel if you will just change parts of the plot after?)

Anyone know an affordable editor?
Re: I did it!
Yes! Excellent!
I'm still digging through my draft, one sentence at a time.
