I thought it was a little demotivating to see my graph top out at 60K instead of NaNo's 50K goal. I always felt like I was behind, even though I won back on the 20th. Last night, I conquered the 60K demon, and met the top of my graph. Then I made the horrible mistake of re-validating with today's word count, and I'm 20K behind again, per my depressing 80K top grid-line. *sniffle* At least if it had dynamically changed to 70K, my word count graph wouldn't look so pathetic and sad.
