Critiques Forum: Add "Age Group" to the template? http://www.nanowrimo.org/en/forums/site-and-message-board-feedback-and-suggestions/threads/47656 E.Husher I've been skimming through a lot of the threads on the Critiques forum looking for a novel to help out with. I know there is a thread for YA and Children's Lit, but I still think it would be helpful if people listed their intended age group or target audience for their novel, especially because I know that some people are posting YA or similar in other genre threads too. The summaries that people write don't always allude to what kind of audience the author is trying to reach, and I'm being really picky on who I contact about critiquing because I'm not sure if their novel is for me! If this is possible, I'm sure I'm not the only one who would find it helpful. I like reading novels intended for 14 year old boys and I'm a 20 year old woman! Besides, when I write, I don't normally think of a particular age group. However, I'm sure you are right and there are other people who would find the age group thing useful.
