Site archive question

I have a quick question about the archives; two, in fact. One, another user on a thread I frequent posted a link to the 2010 archive. If it exists, why isn't it on the Site Archive page? Also, does the 2009 archive exist? Thanks!

To my knowledge, neither is supposed to exist. Or, more accurately, they exist, but are not supposed to be publicly available. I'm as surprised as you are to discover a functional 2010 archive. This is not something the tech team has informed me about. All archives from the past few years exist, they're just, as far as I knew, private. So the answer to your first question is "I have no idea" and the answer to your second is "yes, but it is not public."

You can actually get a glimpse of the old sites including 2010 (though it is a bit hit and miss) through the wonderful Wayback Machine. After you peek into the forums you either find them funny or despair as the same questions every year ;p
