I'm seeing an upper-class Victorian lady here, a little over-weight, very imposing, in her 50s, who thrives on terrorising her family with her matchmaking and keep-the-family-guessing-about-who-will-inherit.
Definitely flamboyant, in danger of pushing gaudy depending on the setting. Daring, headstrong, marching to the beat of her own drum, but overdoing it a bit trying to impress and trying to prove something.
I like it and i think you should stick to it. Like everybody that has commented i feel like this name gives this woman a since of spunk, however i do see a kind of Luna Lovegood character residing within her. Is that what you were going for or did i totally ruin the name?
I think it's a nice name. I kind of picture a well off woman who wears nice clothes and those old fashioned hats. Her hair is in perfect ringlets and she has perfect manners.
That being said, I laughed when I saw this the ancestor of my main characters was Aurelius (a guy) and therefore they call themselves "Aurelians." So close. XD

I see her as in her twenties, with long auburn hair. She's really smart and spunky (like a lot of people have said) and is very encouraging to everyone.
I like the name. But the first thing that popped into my mind was a lady with a light yellow old-style dress (that kind that has the waist puffed up) with white dots on it holding an umbrella in the same colour. She also has a nice yellow hat with some white flowers on it. She's young and got a good humour. :'D
now, that's quite different from everyone else, I suppose ...
Woman's name: Yay or nay?
Hi guys!
What do you think of the full name; Aurelia Plume?
What kind of woman would the name conjour up, looks/personality wise for you?
Bear in mind, the story would be a fantasty/different world/society, so the quirkiness of the name wouldn't be unusual there.
Thanks! :3
Re: Woman's name: Yay or nay?
I kind of like it.
In my mind she's quite fearless, maybe a bit tactless, means well, maybe tends to think she knows what's best for other people too...
Re: Woman's name: Yay or nay?
When I hear that name I think of Hunger Games and the prep team (crazy colored skin, bright clothes and accessories)
Re: Woman's name: Yay or nay?
I think of someone really flamboyant.
Re: Woman's name: Yay or nay?
Very outgoing, talks sort of loud, red hair, wears hats with large feathers.
Re: Woman's name: Yay or nay?
I agree with Christina Huling. Also, kind of tall.
Re: Woman's name: Yay or nay?
I agree with Christina Huling, too, except I see her as short, and older. Tight, close-cropped curly hair. Kind of like Annie, but shorter.
Re: Woman's name: Yay or nay?
I see a very proper madam, but with a lot of spunk and color. And I imagine a feather in her hat with some sort of monocle. I don't know why.

Hahaha, I like the quirks of this. It's so interesting to hear what characteristics are linked to a name. Btw, congrats on your word count!
Re: Woman's name: Yay or nay?
I see a female space pirate captain!

Re: Woman's name: Yay or nay?
I get the image of a woman from the 1800s who's very snooty and uppity.

Yay! Definitely!
I think red-head, strong willed, fearless. She means well but can be clumsy and tends to screw things up.
