It's the weekend, so I woke up in my pajamas and worked in them until I needed to go out for something, and now I'm writing in my jeans and a collared shirt. I never write with socks on unless I'm writing in public, and even then, rarely.

I prefer my pajamas. Most comfortable clothes I have. :3
If I'm out of pajamas I usually wear a pair of sweatpants and a comfy old shirt or something.

Blue jeans, and a t-shirt... pretty much whatever I wore to class that day. Then I wear a black cloak over everything. It's hard to feel depressed about your plot when you're wearing a black cloak. ^_^

Re: comfy clothes

Pajamas if possible, sweatpants if not. And a big old cable knit cardigan and something on the floor to tuck my feet under - socks I don't find conducive to writing, but neither are cold feet. If the cat won't oblige I have an old sweathirt or a blanket.

Black cloaks sound good. When I'm stuck or fed up I often put on my rust-coloured throw - something about wearing a swathe of woolen cloth in a strong colour is comforting and inspiring! (It has to be the rust one, apparently. The black one doesn't help with writing. I don;t know why);.

Usually in my jeans and a t-shirt, because that what I wear every day. No use going through life uncomfortable. Well, I guess it's easy for a student to say that. Blankets, extra pillows, and sweatshirts also help because my room is a good 5 degrees colder than the rest of the house.

What I always wear to be honest. =) I don't like pants. Then one day I realised I never need to wear them again if I don't want to and have been investing in a lot of dresses since. (I still wear shorts and t-shirts though.) This presents only a mild problem because I study science and there are some requirements for what you wear... And I don't like shoes either.

Re: comfy clothes

I've come to the conclusion I can't write properly if I'm wearing too many clothes. Too uncomfortable. I keep wriggling and pulling on my clothes instead of concentrating and writing. So, as soon as I come in the door, off comes the sweater and the trousers and the bra... socks can stay if it's chilly, otherwise it's T-shirt and panties, sometimes a skirt. And if I'm cold, my cloak (awesome that there are other cloak-wearers out there!)
And today, I'm enjoying the fact that my living room is toasty warm for once, and I'm living on my own, and I have curtains I can close, and... ahem. ;-)

Re: comfy clothes

I wear my 'house' clothes. I can't stand wearing street clothes once I'm in the house and it's just me and my family. I wear tracksuit bottoms, hoodies and t-shirts. I like to have nice loose, soft clothes on for sitting around, and I can't walk about in pyjamas because a) it's cold and b) I feel TOO lazy and scruffy. Incidentally, I never wear tracksuit bottoms in public unless I'm participating in some sort of sport or travelling home from hospital! Any other time, I feel obliged to put on something a bit more presentable.

I'm the opposite! I hate skirts and dresses and realised at 11 that I never needed to wear them again (after the school stopped forcing me) so I only ever wear trousers. And shoes just feel wrong indoors! :)

I'm enjoying people's little oddities! I can't write (or do anything outside the bedroom/bathroom) without socks on! I love socks and have drawers full of them. It probably stems from wearing triple layers of booties as a baby because I was born with freakishly cold feet (which unfortunately are still the same...)
