Rings

I'm picking a medal to be my supervillain's weakness, and I want it to be something that isn't a common ring material. (Other jewelry doesn't matter because he has to actually come in contact with it for it to affect him.)

One, do you wear a ring on a regular basis?

Two, what metal is it?

I wear a wedding ring. I'm not sure what the base metal is but it's gold plated.

I used to, but I was allergic to my mood rings (probably nickel). I think one I used to wear was silver and my class ring is white gold.

I have several copper rings that I wear everyday. And they give you a green ring where you where it. (Nearly everyone that noticed has told me it's probably going to make my finger fall off and I have to take it off immediately and throw it in the ocean. And I have assured them at great lengths that it does not. However, after the fifth time you get this reaction, it does get old.) I love my copper rings.
