Kickoff Party!

Hey Everyone!

It's that time again! What should we do for our kickoff party?

The past few years, we have favored a pizza party at Peter Piper Pizza, in part because it's inexpensife, they've got a few different options for individual and personal food, it's an environment where it's okay for the lot of us to be a little bit noisy, and of course it's right next to campus.

In the past, we've also met at a few places downtown, and we could do our traditional meet-up spot of Barnes & Noble as well.

Another option that has opened up this year is Bookman's, which has a cafe area up front. We've done some write-ins there before and they're traditionally fairly friendly to groups using their space as a meeting area.

As for the time? I'm open any time on Saturday or Sunday the 29th or 30th, as well as on the evening of Friday the 28th, but Sat/Sun seem like they've got a better chance of working for everybody.

I can make all those dates (though Friday would have to be after 5). Place doesn't matter to me either.

I'm free between 12 and 5 those days, place doesn't matter to me. :)

If ti's the 28th, I will guarantee I cannot be there. If it's the 29th or 30th, I'm just not sure.

For what it's worth, from someone who isn't committed to being there, Bookmans seems like the best choice to me.

I can definitely do the 29th or the 30th. I'm available all day both of those days. Also, I can do the 28th after 5pm. As for places, I'm really not that picky, but I would prefer either Peter Piper or Bookmans.

I work strange hours, but after 5 PM on any of the days works for me. I'd prefer Peter Piper or Bookmans, myself, but I'm flexible.

hey...What about Denny's? (I <3 Pancake Puppies...)

Also, I am leaving to go back to my high school homecoming Friday at around 3. But I should be back by saturday afternoon? I'll have to talk to the people I'm getting a ride from on what the plan is...

So we aren't coming back til sunday sometime so I dunno if I'll be able to make it if it's early

I'm available both those days but Saturday works best and I'm not picky about meeting places.

It's looking less and less like I'll be able to attend. Training in Phoenix Friday, possible trip to Tucson Saturday, will probably be wiped out on Sunday (and if not, I'll be going to the haunted house at Viola's nursery).

Sorry everybody -- it has been a ridiculously busy week or so.

It's looking like the best time for the people who will be in town this weekend is sometime in the mid-day of Saturday.

In part due to tradition, and in part because I get an excuse to have pizza so rarely, let's go ahead and have it at Peter Piper!
