Write-in, Thursdays, Capitol Hill Starbucks 730pm

Are you on the Hill and looking for somewhere to write? Join me at the Starbucks on Pennsylvania and 3rd every Thursday night this month (with the exception of Thanksgiving day). I'll be upstairs (until they kick us out, they started booting people up there last year around 8ish, not cool).

Who? Chuck (Orion) - I'll be writing on an iPad and I'll have a Nano tent on my table
Where? Starbucks on Capitol Hill, 237 Pennsylvania Ave SE, Washington, DC 20003
When? Every Thursday of November (except Thanksgiving day) starting at 730pm (I'll try to get there before then, I'm hoping 7sih, they close at 9).

Directions? Starbucks is accessible from the Metro Orange/Blue line at the Capitol South stop. When you get to the top of the metro, go up and turn right on C St. SE. Go down two blocks, turn left on 3rd, Starbucks will be a block up on the left on the corner of Pennsylvania. To access the upstairs, walk straight through the Starbucks to the back, the barista station will be on your right, go through the door in the back to a little corridor, stairs will take you up to the 2nd floor.

Etc.? The upstairs is usually pretty quiet, unless the rare rowdy group of people shows up. Also, there are plenty of plugs for laptops. Plus, with it getting cold out, they almost always have the fireplace going, which is nice.

we should try to see if we can reserve the room they have upstairs. i know last year they had a different group actually call ahead to reserve it, not sure if we can do the same thing.

I live very close to there. I may not make it tonight, but I'll definitely try to come some time.

i may or may not be there tonight. Ran the Marine Corps Marathon this past Sunday and my feet are not really up for walking any kind of distance (i usually walk there) but i'll see if i can find a bus.

sorry i couldnt be there (again). emergency trip to WV. the only good to come of it was that i was able to catch up and finish my novel.
