This year I will be holding a write in for the first two weekends in November:
Where: The National Portrait Gallery, which is located at Eighth and F Streets NW Washington, DC. The closest metro stops are Chinatown for the Red, Yellow and Green lines, and Metro Center if you are on the Orange and Blue lines.
When: Saturday on Nov. 3rd and 10th. I am out of town the last half of the month, but I encourage those who like the location to keep this going.
Who: My name is Clyde Williams. I'm tall, have brown hair that is in a buzz cut, and you will see me with a green backpack with a blue and white bike helmet.
Things to Know (What): There are NO power outlets in the atrium, so come with a full battery in your laptop or pen and paper. There is a snack shop, but it is pricy. Also, the atrium is a bit hit or miss when it comes to how crowded it gets. Sometimes it is nice and quite, but it can get loud; however, there are lots of tables.
Ok...I look forward to see some old and new faces, and good luck to you all.
I'd LOVE to do this! There's a political rally I want to attend this Saturday, but working around that, I'll definitely come. If nothing else, I'll be there next Saturday.
Everyone,

I'm super interested! Are you still planning on doing this write in? I can't think of a better way to spend my Saturday!
Still on. I will see you both there!
Me too! I'm an absolute newbie to NaNoWriMo, but am excited for the challenge. Will be there a little earlier, I think. :)
Here at the Portrait Gallery behind the trees near the courtyard cafe.
I love writing at the Portrait Gallery! I will try to make it!
I'll try to be there this sat :)
I should be there and I'll try to have a little NaNo Write-In "tent" on my table so folks will know who we are!
How long will people be there for?
We should be here for at least 2 hrs.
