Hello all!
I'm Amanda, a student at American University, originally from Utah, and hoping to complete NaNo again this year! I write best/most when I have people to write with and compete against (like in word wars) so I was wondering if anyone is also from American University and would want to do Write-Ins! We could set up a cozy spot at the library, hang out at the Dav, or group together to head out to other off-campus Write-Ins! It would be great to meet everyone here interested in NaNo! I'm planning on being part of the AU Creative Writing Club (haven't actually had time to attend any meetings quite yet but going to the one tomorrow!) but I'm not sure if there are others out there that aren't part of the club but are interested in NaNo! Feel free to introduce yourselves here and hopefully we can all find a time and place to get together!

Hi! My name is Beckie, and I go to Wesley Seminary. We are right next door to AU, and our schools are affiliated. I won Nano back in 2009 and I'm excited to do it again this year! I'd love to have some friends to write with! :)

I'm a grad student at SIS and this is my first time doing Nano. Definitely interested in some tips and lil meet-ups at the library. Yay!
I went to AU back in the early aughts. FYI if the hatch behind public safety is still accessible I suggest you go down there to write. It's a bit tricky to turn the lock, but it's 32R, 14L, 26R. Be precise. It's a very inspirational place to wite! Good luck guys!

I'm a freshman at AU who started NaNo rather late!
We should definitely do a write-in some time.
I didn't know we had a creative writing club, but you should all join the Poetics! (It's not just for poets, either, though I would love to meet more poets! :) )
