Race to 50k

Hey all! It's insanity time!

I want to challenge everyone to try to get to 50k this November, and to those overachievers this year, I want to see how quickly a DC Nanite can get to 50k! I know some people on the forums have somehow already gotten there! I'm not that awesome, sadly.

If I can manage to write at least 5k words a day (a huge challenge as 5k is a VERY good day of writing for me) I could probably finish the goal by the 11th or within 10 days or so.

I'm currently at about 7k, and I'll write some more later today.

Anyone want to have a regional race to see who can get to 50k first? I don't have a prize except for the bragging rights involved, but it could be fun! Who will race me to 50? (Not to fifty!)

My novel is going ot be about 150,000 words when I finish it, but I highly doubt I'll get anywhere near that this month. However, I am off to a good start with 5k my first day (although just 1,700 on the second) and I hope to reach 50k considerably earlier than the thirtieth. We shall see.

I really want to finish this month and I've been on a steady pace so far. Hopefully will be to 7,500 be the end of Saturday. I've hit of bit of a snag but if I can get past that I'll hopefully do more.

If you hit a snag you can always skip around in the story and write some cool scenes out first! No one is stopping you!

Well, I am a bit crazy right now. Writing through the night (cackles and cracks his knuckles) Ahahahahah! Going to get to 50 and beyond!
