Hello friends!

As November approaches, we'll be filling that nifty little calendar up there with plenty of opportunities for you and your fellow Wrimos to get together all over Chicagoland and write! Your friendly MLs will happily be organizing and hosting several write-ins throughout the month, but we also strongly encourage you to set up your own write-ins near you!
NOTE: If you do come to an ML-hosted write-in, there's a good chance of receiving the super-awesome 2011 NaNoWriMo STICKERS!

So, if you want to host your own write-in, what should you do? Super-easy - just post a little note here in this thread so we MLs can add it to the calendar for you! Please note: post a separate thread if you want to see if anybody would be interested in a write-in at a certain time in a certain location; you should only post here if you want your write-in added to our spiffy Google calendar. On a similar note, if you do post a separate thread for organizing your write-in, please remember to post in this thread once you pin down days/times/locations so it gets added to the calendar - it makes it a bit easier for us ML's to keep track of what we've put on the calendar and what we haven't!

The only things we ask are 1) that write-ins not be hosted at the same time as an ML event if you want them on the calendar and 2) that only all-inclusive write-ins be submitted for posting on the calendar (i.e. no age restrictions or write-ins for members of a certain group only - though if it's held, for example, "on-campus" but non-students are welcome, that would be fine).

Thanks and happy NaNo'ing!
Stacy

We have moved too! Barring further difficulties, we will now be at Cafe Neo (4655 N Lincoln Ave) from 5-8 p.m. for the next three Sundays - we were significantly too big for the Starbucks.

One more, sorry - ours is a location change and a schedule change - starting at 5 instead of six, since Neo closes earlier than the Starbucks. (And it is, in fact, deserted here. Hooray?)

Even though it's a weeknight, three of us are planning on meeting up at the Starbucks on North Ave. and Wells (since it's open 24 hours) on Monday night and doing a kick-off at midnight. So it's not an official write-in, but anyone's welcome to join us!
