I've always wanted to write a novel, but made every excuse not to. Thanks to NaNoWriMo, I committed myself and have finished it, the day before Thanksgiving. Motto, don't ever give up on a dream!

Speaking of which, thanks to all Nanowrimo's and the MLs for their support, everyone in the Chiwrimo chatroom and at the write-ins. With deadline motivation and positive peer pressure, I more than doubled the length of my novel and am only 5 1/2 chapters (plus an epilogue) from done.

Yeah I crossed the line. 50115. Thanks for all of the encouragement. Now back to actually finishing the story.

I didn't register until the last minute, because if I was going to fail, I didn't want anybody to know about it.... But I started writing on the 1st, and I won last night at 11:30pm!!!
Reading the posts now, I see it was a mistake to wait... maybe next year.

So according to GoogleDocs, the validator ate about 300 words... but at the moment I'm thinking, WHO THE @#%& CARES?! It's still over 50k!!
