Hi Katherine - I'm not sure my word count is being entered correctly because I'm such an illiterate when it comes to all things electronic!! But, I am on target to hit 50K by Wednesday - YAY - and would love to come to the TGIO party on the third. I'll bring some sort of side dish, like rice are potatoes perhaps.

While I hope you make 50K by Wednesday--you do not have to reach 50K to come to the TGIO. So, if life intrudes, come anyway.
I'll also hopefully be bringing along my friend Jess (serenity4night), who is actually part of the Peoria region, but will be back in town this weekend!
I will be coming to the party. Other than my wife, I will bring a main dish and possibly a dessert, if I can find the time for both. I look forward to meeting people.
I'm not sure if I'll be able to make it (though I really really want to!). If I can't, I'll try and send Joe off with some sort of main course food of some sort, but I'd need to figure out what.
Either way, I should know for sure before the end of next week.
I will be there. Nan and Kristiana are possible (iffy). I might see if my friend Rob can come.
We'll bring a gluten-free pumpkin cheesecake (if it is possible to do--not entirely sure about this, since I haven't made this version before; but hopefully it will turn out ok :-) ).
I switched my shift, so I'll be there after all! :D As for what I'm bringing... At the moment, I haven't the slightest idea. I'm not going to have much time at all between now and then, so... I might try to bring some chicken salad or something that I can actually eat. I have no idea.
For now, I think I'll plan to bring some forks. I know I can do that much.
I will be there, as will Cabana Boy. I will bring gluten-free, fat-free cupcakes, and build-it-yourself taco nachos (also gluten-free). The Piratess and I, at least, will have stuff to eat! >^..^<
Or maybe not stuffed shells, with the gluten issues in the group. Are lentils gluten free? I have a good recipe that uses them, and I have lots of lentils.

Re: RSVP for the TGIO Party
Love the H. Rider Haggard reference! Or the Rumpole reference, take your pick!
Catherine
Re: RSVP for the TGIO Party
Both actually ...Rumpole gets it from Haggard too :)

Re: RSVP for the TGIO Party
Oh my gosh. Tim, you are my hero. Seriously. I'm so glad that I'll be able to make it after all.
Re: RSVP for the TGIO Party
It is the only thing on my calendar for that day and I'm planning on being there!
We have an over-abundance of eggs these days ... so I'm thinking deviled eggs :)
Linda
Re: RSVP for the TGIO Party
Donuts!! Lots and lots of donuts!!!
Re: RSVP for the TGIO Party
I hope to be there, Lord willing, and might be bringing some mini pumpkin muffins and... maybe something else. We'll see. ;)
Re: RSVP for the TGIO Party
Ooh... I might bring a guest. If I can talk her into coming. C:
Re: RSVP for the TGIO Party
Can i just bring lotsa chips? If I cook anything I'll kill you all!!!

Re: RSVP for the TGIO Party
Okay, I think I'm going to attempt to bring pumpkin cookies. Assuming my family doesn't devour them all first.

Re: RSVP for the TGIO Party
Whee!! Ky, you are my hero. :) I wish I knew how to make my pumpkin cookies fat free! Any tips so that I could make them so you can eat them, too?
Re: RSVP for the TGIO Party
I'll bring water. Is 48 bottles (16oz) enough or should I bring more?
Re: RSVP for the TGIO Party
48 would be plenty. Thanks!
Re: RSVP for the TGIO Party
I do work. :(
But I still should be there at around 1:45-2:00! I may try and finagle a way out early somehow, but more than likely I'll be late.
Re: RSVP for the TGIO Party
I'd like to go, but I have karate lessons until nearly 1 p.m. - makes attendance difficult :(
Re: RSVP for the TGIO Party
I'll be there with chocolates. Might be a few min. late, but i'll be there.
Re: RSVP for the TGIO Party
I shall not be able to attend after all, hope everyone has fun! Take care
Re: RSVP for the TGIO Party
:c I'll miss you, my British buddy.
Re: RSVP for the TGIO Party
:( It won't be the same without my British big brother, but alas, I will still attend.
Re: RSVP for the TGIO Party
Ohhhh you two are sooooooooo good with the guilt trips!!!! Dang!!!
Re: RSVP for the TGIO Party
Indeed we are. C: It's a skill all women possess.
Re: RSVP for the TGIO Party
Count me in for the TGIO party, please. I'll bring some raw veggies.
I'm busting my butt at the computer this weekend to get my word count up to speed.
Re: RSVP for the TGIO Party
This is my fourth comment or something, but that's alright.
Do we already have someone bringing plates and forks and the like? If not, I'll bring those too. ;)
Re: RSVP for the TGIO Party
Great! I thought you'd switched what you were bringing, but if you were just adding on that's good.
Re: RSVP for the TGIO Party
Hey everyone! I will be there, bringing Bryan with me too. We can't stay for the whole time, but looking forward to celebrating my first NaNo :)
Not sure about HapoyHeart...
I will bring a main dish, like a spaghetti something...as I'll be rolling back into town that am...
Thanks! Best of luck everyone on the final push towards 50k!
Lauren
Re: RSVP for the TGIO Party
I have to work, too, but will try to stop by afterward. Looking forward to seeing y'all. I'll bring some chips or something.
Re: RSVP for the TGIO Party
I will be bringing baked stuffed shells. Don't think Bart is planning on coming, but will let you know if that changes.
Catherine
