I want to let everyone know that the Saint Charles Write-in will, as always, be held every Saturday morning in November from 9am to about 1pm at the Crooked Tree Coffee House. I will be there at 9am (or I’ll try to be at least). Come and go as you please. Stay as long as you like.
The Crooked Tree Coffee House is located at 559 First Capitol Drive, Saint Charles, MO, 63301. Parking is next to and behind the building. They do serve food, both breakfast and lunch items, as well as an endless coffee bar and other drinks. We always have a great time, so please join us!
Woo! Best hazelnut latte in Missouri, those awesome breakfast sandwiches-on-croissants, and excellent writerly company to boot. Or not to boot, it's up to you.
I've never written in a group setting before, but I'm looknig forward to Crooked Tree Write-Ins. It will get me out of the house and away from family distractions. What time does Crooked Tree open?
The Crooked Tree opens at 7am on the weekends and 6am weekdays. The first one there has to tag tables so we can all sit together! I know they've moved everything around again. They always do. There is no telling how they have it arranged now...
Hello, this is my first NaNoWriMo... And as busy as I already am, I'm going to need the support of a group - - I'll be there - look out for a guy writing in an English accent!
Hey all, I'm Sara, this is my first NanoWriMo and I'll be at Crooked Tree on various days throughout the week, while my kiddos are at school...I hate making plans and I'm usually not very good with commitments either, I'm more of a "We'll see what happens" type person so I'm not making any promises as to the days or times, but I'll be there...randomly...haha
'Lo all, I hope to be there, bushy tailed, but not bright-eyed until I have my caffeine. Seeing as I don't work til four that day, I think I'm going to try and get a few chapters in, to make up for writer's block today.
First time WriMo.. so you take your puters' set up camp and write? Hmm.. interesting ! My Saturday's are booked solid, with the kiddos.. wish I could make it.. :)
Pretty much. Just a bunch of people clacking on keyboards and sucking down coffee, trying to get as many words as they can before the caffeine makes us too hyper to sit still. If you can’t make a Saturday write-in, then perhaps one of the weekday events would be better?
I had to deal with a sick cat this morning, guys, and couldn’t make the write-in. I hope you all had fun and wrote a ton of words. I’ll see you next weekend.
Tomorrow, Saturday 26th is the last Saint Charles write-in held at the Crooked Tree Coffeehouse. I'm a tad behind, so I need a last big push to catch up. I hope I see all the usual people and a lot of new peeps stopping by to write!

Re: Saint Charles Saturday Write-in
I recommend the hazelnut latte for the caffeine fix. See you there!

Re: Saint Charles Saturday Write-in
You could always bring the kiddoes. I mean sure they might interupt a few words of this and that, but they can be pretty inspiring too.

Sorry your cat was sick. We were wondering where you were!
