Once again I'm opening up my house for write-ins. Every Wednesday night of the month, 7-9 pm, join me in my living room for a cozy write-in. Bring your writing materials and we'll make some words. We'll gladly welcome plot bunnies and do a few word wars. I've got wireless and wired (as long as you bring an ethernet cord) internet for you, and occasionally something to nosh on. Bring some chips or cookies if you feel like it.

Just so you know, a cat that believes she is superior to all beings lives here.
I might make it to one of these to see what they are about, but as busy as things are, I'll save the commute time. Of course I might be swayed with dynamics, an overly protective, controlling mom (my wife) and a rebellious, intelligent (4.5 gpa), talented (Percussion, piano (8th year - musicians guild, perfect score), electric guitar), church going Eagle Scout (my son). It can get loud. So if I show up wearing a black and white striped shirt with a whistle, you'll know why.
I loaded my writing software on my laptop, must be plugged in because the battery is dead, but I just bought an Alphasmart 2000 portable word-processor ($16) for when I can't be near an outlet.
Awesome Smitty, some people swear by those little gizmo's so I'd be interested in hearing your take on it. I almost bought one last year, but I am kind of a gadget nerd and have a home full of under-utilized doodads.
I'll let you know how it turns out. Not sure if I will make the 20th write in as I will just be getting back from Chicago via auto. Let me know which write-in you'll be at and I'll bring it by. The first one I send back because the keyboard was non-std. It worked out because the one I am getting is A Dana Wireless and USB. If you are really considering it, go for the USB one otherwise you will be spending another $15-20 on a Y-cable to connect through the Keyboard PS2 port.
Tonight, join me for another home write-in! Please feel free to bring something to share. We'll do some word bursts and wars, and I'll put up another G+ Hangout.
Remember, bring your loose change! Everything collected BEFORE Sunday's EoSR will be MATCHED!
There will be a home write-in tonight! You'll have to deal with me baking cookies for the Thanksgiving holiday, but I think you all can deal with that.
I'll also try to run a Hangout. Link posted in the Notes section as per usual.
Home write-in with your ML
Hi all,

Re: Home write-in with your ML
Is it ok if I'm a little early (like 15 min)? I'll be bringing chips...
Re: Home write-in with your ML
Since I take public transportation to and from work, I usually get home around 6.30. So a little early is fine.

Re: Home write-in with your ML
Sorry I missed this one, but I was so dead-tired that I could barely sit in front of my computer.
Of course, I'm starting to get my second wind now, when I should be getting ready for bed.

Wish I coulda been there. Unfortunately I had geeklings that need to be watched. I hope it was fun.
Re: Home write-in with your ML
Even though I had an unfortunate encounter with a backed-up sewer drain on Monday, the house is open tonight!
You could wear pajamas to this write-in, did you ever think about that?
I'll try to get a Google+ hangout going, as well. I'll post the link in the notes section.

I found three dollars in the pocket of my winter coat when I put it on for the first time this morning. Instant donation FTW.
