Calendar and Events

Heyo people!

The Google Calendar is up and running!

Two things you may note:

1) No kick-off party posted - this is because we're not entirely sure what we're capable of doing this year. Things are a bit insane lately, but we're still trying to pull together a kick off this coming Sunday at Spot Coffee downtown. We will let you know how it works out, ASAP.

2) No Halfway Party - since "half way" falls in the middle of the week, we're going to have to do without this party this year. Unless someone wants to put something together?

As always, if you have any events you'd like to add to the calendar (relevant to NaNoWriMo), please let us know! We'll do our best to add it so that everyone can see it on the regional header. Unfortunately, we are unable to accomodate all 1000+ of you with the events we can plan, but we always encourage those of you who can't make it to the write-ins posted to organize your own :)

We also want to remind you that the MLs cannot always make it to the write-ins posted. Therefore we encourage you to make yourselves known by posting signs (some are provided by this site under the "NaNo Near You" dropdown menu, or you can get creative and make your own!), and by trying to keep in touch via this forum and/or Twitter.

And one last reminder: if you are nervous about attending a write-in, don't be! We're too busy writing our novels to bite ;D
