TGIO Party (Thank Goodness It's Over)
Fellow Wrimos!
I'm pleased to announce the time and location of our TGIO Party Friday, Dec 2. at Sorrentino's Pizza in Williamsville (details below).
The TGIO Party is great because we share (if you want), a page or two of our novels. I ask that everyone make a few copies of the exerpt they'd like to share (if you'd like to share) and put your name or your internet handle on it (as well as the title) so we can pass them along.
I'll also bring Apples to Apples if we decide we want to play.
Please pass this info around to any local Nanowrimo-ers you know, since I can't broadcast email. And if you can, RSVP so I can keep them updated if our party gets big! (you can just RSVP to this thread, if you'd like). It should come out to around $5-6 per person for the 'za, and each person gets his or her own drinks (they charge for refills).

7:00pm!. We're reserved from 7-9, but they don't care if we stay until close. Remember to bring some pages of your Nano to pass around! That's definitely one of the very fun things.
A note on the party: Even if you didn't finish Nano (like me) or didn't even do Nano this year, or even if you want to bring a friend who's never heard of Nano, please come to the party. It's nice to meet people that you've read about or heard about on the boards, and it's a nice way to end the Nano year.

CONGRATULATIONS on hitting the 50k. How I long to win this year, but, alas, the second year of continued divorce proceedings is even more stressful than the first. . . ugh.

Hubby-man Garrett & I will be there, for sure! I only won by the skin of my teeth this time, but he wrote a really cool, whacked out first draft.

Okay, wait a second. Now I'm confused. The event thing on the first page of the buffalo forum says 8-11, but here you say 7. I'm going with the assumption it IS indeed at 7:00 and if I'm early, oh well.
