Online Write-ins and Kick-off

Hey wrimos!

For those of you not in the Tri-cities area, I'm working on getting an IRC chatroom up. Other options for that include Google Hangouts (for those of you who have Google+ accounts, if you're interested) and I'm open to suggestions.

I'll have more information as soon as I hear back from the chatroom hostess. ^_^

Well, there are a couple sites that offer easy to use chat rooms, and if you'd like I can give you a couple links.

I've used tinychat for NaNo in the past. It works very well. You set up an account (it's free) and tell everyone what it's called (maybe tnelsewheres?), and people drop in when they can. The first one in is the admin, and if they leave they appoint another admin.

Well, if you have a registered account I'm pretty sure you can maintain adminship, and that way we can skip conflicts with kicking/banning/etc. XD

I think I'll be using tinychat (Thanks for the suggestion!) and possibly a kick-off to midnight write-in this afternoon. As soon as I know, I'll post here. ^_^

And I've got it up and running! Thanks a bunch for the suggestions and all. It was easier than I expected. *wipes forehead* What a relief. LOL.
