What's Your Genre?

I'm curious to know what genre your novel is this year. Mine falls under Horror this time, and I'm hoping there are others here that do as well! Specifically, zombies. But even if you're not, tell us, what is yours?

I could never write about zombies! They are a big fear of mine because I am a big baby lol! Mine is action/fantasy, but since the MC is a physician/surgeon, it has a few darker themes thrown in.

(if anyone is actually wondering about that fear I think it stems from the fear of the 'undead'? I don't touch dead bugs unless I am completely sure they are dead. Once I tried to pull a huge 2ft catfish out of a tank that looked like a goner and he sprung back to life! Scared me senseless and made sure that my fear of dead things coming back to life was legit o-o yep)

Fantasy here, though I'd like to try my hand at horror with my next project.

Fantasy! A fantasy-mystery this time. I wanted to just write a 'normal mystery' but somehow that pesky fantasy element just popped up on its own. ^_^

I'm writing a paranormal romance with a pinch of horror and erotica. I'm working on another piece for my class that is in its own way a zombie piece, so those are always fun!

Science Fiction!!

I love Science Fiction soooo very much and actually writing it is extremely fun.

Fanstasy (D&D,adventure, style Magic vs Logic)
My main character is a ferret

Super dark comedy with some horror elements mixed in. I can't really do anything without making it a little funny.

My novel is sorta science-fiction. Not really, but it fits science-fiction the most. If that makes any kind of sense.

Wow, I'm writing zombies as well! I was kind of inspired by "The Walking Dead" in that it isn't necessarily horror, but it is REALLY dark, and a really harsh critic of mine read it and said the narrative was great thusfar!
