I've confirmed with Denny's that they are expecting us for Halloween again this year. In fact, Debra, the night manager, already informed the management team two weeks ago that she was expecting us and would be reserving the restaurant for our event. They are very excited to see us again. So, if you are new, here are the details:
Halloween Night Kickoff Event at Denny's Overlake 2233 148TH AVE NE, BELLEVUE WA October 31, 2012 10:00 pm till 2:00 am (officially) People often arrive early or stay late which is okay as long as you are buying food, tipping wait staff and not just taking up space. It is a restaurant.
Hosted by Wayzgoose and others.
Last year between 150 and 170 people came to the kick-off. That means we occupy every square inch of the restaurant, including all the floor space. We'll have a couple extra tables and some chairs this year (bringing them from home) and we can always use more extension cords. If you plan to get there after 11:00, plan to sit on the floor. A lap desk and a fully charged battery are good things to have.
I've found out the staff at Denny's look forward to this event almost as much as we do, so please treat them courteously and generously. Please respond if you are planning to attend so we can get an estimate. Thanks!
I currently reside in Marysville, and am planning to arrive early at the event. If you are in the Lynnwood/Marysville/Everett area and want a ride, let me know! I know a couple of other girls ride from the north too, so I thought I'd give them a hand. Be warned, my car rides involve belting along to Evanescence, Kelly Clarkson, Breaking Benjamin, and whatever else comes on my shuffle ;)
Looking forward to this, and gonna try to come in costume! I love these kick-off parties!
I didn't go last year because I let my social anxiety get the better of me to show up, haha - but this year I really, really plan on coming, getting there a bit early and staying for a while!
I really would like to go but live across the lake without a car, so I'm not super sure how that'd work out. XD Is the Denny's 24 hour? I am up all night usually anyway so could feasibly just hang there all night and catch a bus back home in the morning?? XD
Totally in if I can find someone to ride with, I have to take the kids trick or treating before hand but plan on being done with that by 9pm maybe 930, will be in the Burien area by then (I'm hoping we have a move planned). Anyone want to take on a shy quirky coffee addict?

Definetly going!
I will be there!!!
FUN!!! I am going to try to come to this if I dont pass out after taking the kiddos trick or treating;P
I met my current boyfriend at the Nanoween event last year. We're calling it an anniversary and we'll both be there!
I'll be there!! :)
going!
This is really tempting. I might have to go. I'm not a huge fan of driving to Bellevue though. I wonder if anyone else who lives near me is going.
I still live down the street so I totally plan on being there and with my new laptop this year. :)
Sorry... I'm going trick-or-treating for the first time with my friend that night.... Plus school starts at 8:30 the next morning.
I think I will try and attend this....sounds like fun!
I wasn't able to make it last year, so I've already cleared my schedule and I WILL be there this year!
I'd love to go, and I'd love to carpool. Anyone from Lynnwood?
Hey Eliza! I'm up in Marysville, so I'm willing to carpool if you want! :)
If anyone is near Federal Way, I would like to carpool with them.
I'll be coming directly from work in Federal Way, and I don't mind driving. I work a few streets away from the Municipal Courthouse.
Is there room for one more, perchance?
Comfortably, I can seat three other people. Uncomfortably, four. :P
I've been looking forward to this since last year. I'll definitely be there in costume.
IF YOU LIVE UP NORTH!

This sounds like major fun! I'll be there with a +1.
I will absolutely be there. I'll be looking a bit... different... this time, though. :-) And I might even convince my husband to come with me!

Oh dang, that is deeeep into Bellevue. Too many transfers required by bus. Guess I'll have to miss out. D;

Woohoo! Already put in my time off request for November 1st.
I should have room for 3 for carpooling, drop me a note if you need a ride from Queen Anne or adjacent neighborhoods.
I'm there! Coming directly from work in Seattle if anyone is coming from near the waterfront and needs a ride (3rd and Seneca is work).
I'll be there! Got a new costume ready.
I'll be there! Hopefully earlier than last year so I can snag a seat slightly more comfy than the floor. :D
(Will be coming from SLU area if anyone needs a ride -- PM me!)
Yep. I'm in.
