Anyway, yeah. Any interest in this sadly-underrated game? Fangirls on which side? Anyone want to send Capcom an angry letter demanding they start making a third game now? (Just kidding. That'd be a disaster...)

I'm playing the entire game now, currently I'm where you have to go into the water dragon. It's such a fun game ^_^

It is indeed. (a fun game, not me knowing what your avatar is, I'm still clueless...) I've played about five times over. I'm not going to spoil anything for you, but it can quickly go to moving you to tears in the later parts. That's it.

The graphics are why I love it. For me, games have to have good graphics. And Okami just takes it all to a different level and then drops some awesome bombs on the place.
I haven't played it in years-I had to borrow a friends copy because I have no money-but I want to play it again. I can remember all of it, too, especially how frustrating it was sometimes.

Sad, how we're about the only three... out of more than 59670... -.-'' I refuse to believe this.

My avatar on the forums used to be Waka, actually. He's my favorite, with his little flute and glowy sword. Not to mention the Frenchiness -swoon- Okay fangirlism aside... -cough cough- agreed, it's definitely a great fantastic game that deserves more recognition. I remember when I tried finding it in the stores when it first came out- nearly effing impossible -.- I finally found one, just one, practically hidden in a GameStop. I have to say that some of my favorite parts of the game are the goodies at the end (the different skins) and the music; it's so pretty/intense/toogoodtobetrue.

So like, does anyone else have the official art book? Cuz like, if you don't, definitely get one: it's AMAZING. The binding on mine is falling apart due to the many times I've looked through it xD

I remember when I got my copy of Okamiden it was a few months after release. I tried the local mall GameStop first and was practically "T-T"ing when they told me they were out of stock, asked if I wanted the Wii version and I just stared. "Yeah... no. Wrong game out of the TWO." They directed me to one closer to home that had one copy in stock, though~ Love the games and I believe it'll be high time to write an angry letter to Capcom if we don't get a third game. They owe us that much.

Just got Okamiden a few days ago. I'm at the part where the Witch Queen chases you through what appears to be a cross country course.

Oooh, ouch, Cinto. I literally almost had a heart attack during that part... both plays through... (and haven't beaten the game, got to the first stage of the final boss fight and was both crying and swearing the whole time) Several heart attacks. That minigame SCARED me XD

It's crazy how right now I'm both talking to you guys and one of my online best friends who's a total fangirl, but that's okay because she's a fellow self insert writer and at least Celia's on my side. ^.^

His normal get-up is girlish? o.O ...okay, the pom pom things on his shirt is a bit... and his hair is shiny...

And I'm not a raving lunatic fangirl, haha. Aside from Waka, my second fav would have to be the butt slapping imp :( Made me sad to kill him.

Okami is one of my favorite games. I'm holding out for the art book for Christmas :D Waka would have to be my favorite character, followed closely by Issun and Ammy. I love the music to the game just as much as I love the graphics - there's some really awesome piano arrangements of some of the songs that I love to play. (The Sun Rises, anyone?)
