I just got on at :42 but I'm going to try for 1000 before 8:00 :)

lol I got 869. But I totally wasn't working on dialogue. You did pretty well considering dialogue. Mine is in diary form.

My MC has a diary too. I didn't know it until two days ago. (funny how that happened). But.. I'll be getting to her diary again, probably halfway through the next 20.

Regardless, I'm not a super fast typer, and I really can't turn my inner editor off completely. I have a bad habit of fixing things as I go so it's as clean as possible when I go back for a re-write in editing. I actually try to write something that can be salvaged into a story within a month.

Crazy I know to try and do that during NaNoWriMo, but I can't help but try.

Coolie! I love it when little things like that pop up! It keeps the story interesting and entertaining for you as the author.

For not being a fast typer, you did well. I don't blame you about the editing stuff. Just do your best and what you feel comfortable with. I have been fighting the same thing the past two years that I participated. This year I'm just typing whatever comes to mind.

439 in 15 minutes. I had a five minute late start because my husband needed ice and my writing desk is in the way of the big freezer. I really need to move I think :-)
