Anybody continuing their novel past November? Anybody writing something new? I am, and I've found that word wars really help me out. I was hoping we could keep them going throughout the year on this thread? Maybe post up some regular times we'll be on (along with our time zones, of course)? Or just hop on whenever and see if anybody else is on?
I don't know if anybody else will be interested in this, but I know it would definitely help me with the new novel I'll be starting soon. Let me know! Thanks! And congrats to everyone for an awesome November!
I could get on board for that. I'm planning on keeping up the habit of writing every day, and I have a big list of projects that need work or revision. Mostly I'm going for short stories in December, but I have another novel that will want out before long.
My time zone is EST, and I'm usually on every night between ~8 and midnight, but I can switch my schedule around pretty easily.
And I agree, congrats to everyone still standing, winner or not!
Cool! So I'm in MST time...which means you're two hours ahead of me, right? I'll try and be on as many nights as I can and just post up here a few times an hour to see if anybody is here.
I'm pretty sure that's right, two hours ahead. I might be out celebrating the end of NaNo tonight instead of here, but if I'm up for writing when I get home I'll drop in here and see what's happening.
I am down for this. I'm PST, but my schedule is a little too uneven to really pin down times right now. However, during the later part of December and I think early January I have reasonably open availability (I work for a junior college).
I would be interested in this, word wars helped me a lot during November. However I'm in the UK which is five to eight hours ahead of you. I have been writing early morning, lunchtime and early evening so don't know if that fits into anything but maybe catch you on a weekend. If not maybe there will be some other people on from similar time zone to myself.
I'm definitely up for this. My profile may claim me to be a winner, but my NaNo story is less than half told.. I'd definitely love to do some word wars in the upcoming weeks, and even beyond that! I think I'm in Central Time.. I don't know if that's the same as Mountain Time.. Oh well, I'm sure it'll all work out!
I'm in Central time: GMT-6. I would love to keep the wars going! We're planning on going on http://tinychat.com/naNoWriteIn every day if we can, so yall can come and join us there too. ^^
I'm not sure where we hold the wars, but I agree, I like the 15 minute ones. I'll be on tonight from now until ~11:30pm EST and will war with anyone who feels up to going!
I'm on at weird hours all over the place and still have a ways to go on my story. :) I'd love to be able to keep doing word wars--really helps to push me through any tough spots and not get so focused on a particular scene that I run myself into a block.
I'm up for this! I practically lived over at http://tinychat.com/naNoWriteIn in the last week of November, so I'll be there still. I have to finish a sequel I was writing and I also need to plan out my FebNoWriMo novel too :s
So yeah. I'm in England, so that's GMT for me. I'm usually on most nights at around 5-10pm GMT. Apart from on Tuesdays; then I'm on until 9 (Vampire Diaries eek!).
I'll try to come here a lot too, I'm CST, but I normally pop in around the clock. Oh the joys of insomnia? xD So I'll be checking back here a bit. I love word wars, they're all that kept me going through this year's nano, and they're the only way I won! :P
Word Wars...now and forever!

Re: Word Wars...now and forever!
I'd be interested; I'm EST, but the hours I'll be able to work will vary.
Re: Word Wars...now and forever!
Is the idea to post new word wars here? Or start a new thread? Or use the old ones based on time? (I found the 15 minute ones the most helpful.)

Anyone still awake, perchance?

Re: Word Wars...now and forever!
Ok, not really a word war, but who wants to do a 15K day today?
I'm on my hands and knees begging....
Re: Word Wars...now and forever!
Ok I'm 2K down, 13K to go!

Re: Word Wars...now and forever!
I'm around for a while tonight. I'll be posting in the 15 minute wars thread, but I'm in if anyone prefers a different time amount.
Re: Word Wars...now and forever!
If anyone pops by, a couple of us are on the 15 minute wars thread.
Re: Word Wars...now and forever!
We are still doing wars in the tinychat room wrimo if anyone wants to do that.(:
Re: Word Wars...now and forever!
Anyone still on this thread? I'd like to revive it if possible. :)
