Oh, my writing helpers:
My Wordcount dragon:
Anotango is my wordcount dragon. His name means 'that word' in Japanese (at least, I think it does!). He is about the size of a small house cat with scales the colour of golden barley with lighter scales along his belly and chest. His wings are slightly large for his size, with the wing membranes being translucent. His eyes are deep orange. He likes to sit on my bookshelf reading the Inheritance Cycle or the Fire series along with Harry Potter. During NaNoWriMo, he sits next to my mouse/keypad to prevent me from surfing the internet and going on tumblr when I should be writing. He is very sweet when you're writing and not surfing t'internet, but procrastination makes him angry and he shreds things. Anything. He also loves tea and will share it when you are using it to keep yourself awake. He sometimes follows you around and sits on your desk at school or in your schoolbag.
His name is Shojoka, and he's silver with two black socks on his front paws. He's about the size of a Golden Retriever.
He's not great with research, but he loves to contribute plot twists and sub-plots. If you don't reach your daily word count, he'll take up your entire bed and not let you in until you've reached your goal. He loves coffee and pastries, and if you stop writing or don't share your snacks, he'll poke you incessantly with his nose.
