Synopsis
On Caecus, there isn't anything worse than being a Somnium, which is exactly what Jessilyn Owen is.
To be a Somnium- to be able to make dreams a reality- is an automatic death sentence on the Island of Caecus. But, everyone thought that they were gone, destroyed in the Somnium war fifty years ago. So when a member of the Island Council is revealed to be hiding a group of them on an Island no one else knows exists, what is Caecus to do? Especially when a Somnium is revealed- Seventeen-year-old Jessilyn Owen?
Now, a source of hatred for everyone, Jessilyn flees with her friends. Only in the wilderness will the truth about the Somnium be set free- and a deadline to save them. Jessilyn is on a race against the Council to convince Caecus that their history is wrong. But, who's going to believe that from a Somnium herself?
