- TLC is my favorite group; however I like to listen to a wide selection while I write. Like Rock, Hip Hop, R&B, Rap, 90's music (some of the best music came out then), Gospel, Heavy Metal, little bit of country. What ever puts me in a mood really.

- Some of my favorite books are: The house on mango street, The Awakening, As You Like It, Macbeth, King Lear, Sonnets, Call of the Wild, White Fang, Dracula, The Great Gatsby, Addicted, The Sex Chronicles: Shattering the Myth, Skyscraper, Nervous, Gettin’ Buck Wild: The Sex Chronicles 2, The Sisters of APF, Shame on it All…more to come. And my favorite authors are: Shakespeare, Ernest Hemingway, James Baldwin, Kate Chopin, Russell banks, Sandra Cisneros, Edwidge Danticat, William Faulkner, Zora Neale Huston, Washington Irving, Shirley Jackson, James Joyce , Jamaica Kincaid…I know its a lot, but you can tell that I like a lot of the pioneers of writing but one more modern writer I really like is Zane.
