Hi! I'm Greg Buchanan. I've been working on a novel for the last few years and am pretty much ready to send off to publishers/agents now, so I thought whilst that's going through the system I'd try and write a NaNoWriMo. I've set myself a target of 1000 words a day for the month of November, but, but, will have the extra pressure of polishing/releasing those 1000 words every day to an audience on my blog at http://www.gregbuchanan.co.uk. I'm also likely to go over the word count every day, so I'm hoping to approximate 50,000 words by the end of the month (or write a massive epilogue...).
I'm an English Literature PhD student and am supporting myself through private tuition, so I regularly analyse/try and improve other people's writing. So I'm hoping to also get involved in this community and help proofread/just read/constructively criticise other people's stories as much as possible. Looking forward to it!
