Synopsis
Two sisters, one mission: to save the kingdom they grew up in from the fiery clutches of a clan of red dragons that have been terrorizing the kingdom since the day the girls were born.
Lena and Natasya Sokolov, despite being twins and going everywhere together, could not be more different: Lena fights as a paladin under the banner of Bahamut, while Natasya patrols the woodlands, dealing out woodland justice in Ehlonna’s name. When the Elven girls came of age, the King put out a call for all able adventurers to come to his aid; the magical barrier that was keeping the clan at bay was breaking, allowing the clan to terrorize the capital again.
Fighting their way through elementals, Drow, nagas, and every other possible beast one could imagine, Lena and Natasya must find their way to the clan they are to destroy if the kingdom has any hope of survival. Will the council of an elder Gold Dragon cause Lena, who has served Bahamut all her life, to take up the call to become a Dragonborn, abandoning her kind’s long-lived years and gaining many draconic attributes? Will they be able to overcome the elder Red Dragon and scatter the clan? What else lies in store for Lena and Natasya on this coming-of-age journey?

"Have you thought about answering Bahamut's call and completing the Rite of Rebirth?"
When the golden Great Wyrm asked this, Lena felt her heart skip several beats. When she was only seventy-some years old, she had very distinctly felt the call of Bahamut to be one of his Dragonborn. She had also, however, heard stories of those who had become Dragonborns of Bahamut; they were forced to abandon their racial heritage, their claim to any position of power within a clan, and oftentimes, their families (although, from their standpoint, they were not being forced to give up any of this; they were giving it up willingly to aid Bahamut in his quest to vanquish the spawn of Tiamat). Her parents and most of the other Paladins she had trained with frowned upon this; whenever a Paladin of Bahamut would say that they were going to complete their Rite of Rebirth, they were automatically ostracized by all but their fellow Paladins of Bahamut.
However, after what felt like ages, Lena stepped forward to the Great Wyrm, leaving Natasya speechless as she laid down her sword before the Dragon.
"I have," Lena said. "And I am willing to give up all that I have and all that I am to complete the Rite of Rebirth."
