Author bio:

As a student of psychology, my focus in writing is the inner struggle of the human condition. Everything I write is intensely character-driven, and that is sometimes my downfall (a novel needs a plot too, not just believable characters!). I try to use my understanding of the human psyche, my perception and, in some cases, guesses as to how a person may react to a certain situation, as well as the adversity and experiences I've had in my own life to try and create characters that live on the edge of insanity, whose morals are questioned, whose lives are threatened, and who you can all hopefully feel something for. This is my third year participating in NaNoWriMo and I am thrilled to once again be a part of something so fantastically inspiring.

"Writing is utter solitude, the descent into the cold abyss of oneself."
- Franz Kafka

"You must stay drunk on writing so reality cannot destroy you."
