I have participated in National Novel Writing Month every year since I first stumbled upon the site. I have had varying success, but I always end up with 50,000 words. Sometimes they are awful, and other times they are mediocre. :) We'll have to see if I can top that this year.
I graduated from Michigan State University in 2008 with two Bachelor's-English and History-, a minor in Social Studies, and a secondary teaching certificate. Since then, I have been gaining "life experience" by working where I can until some decides to give me a darn job!
I also read and review classics on my book blog, which is a project I really love.
I am not sure what I am writing for 2012. I know it will be literary fiction, but at the moment, I am still tossing around a number of ideas. I was successful last year in focusing on what I know, so I imagine this year's novel will also highlight my knowledge.
