Author bio:
Alyce Wilson has more than 20 years of experience in writing for publication, including print journalism, freelance writing and editing, and Web publishing. A published poet and columnist in various periodicals, Alyce has a Master's of Fine Arts in Poetry from Penn State University. She is co-founder and editor of the online quarterly literary magazine, Wild Violet, and has self-published Stay Out of the Bin! An Editor's Tips on Getting Published in Lit Mags, available as an e-book and pamphlet.
Her first book, a biography of Will Smith, was published as an e-book by Blue Line Media in 2000; her first poetry chapbook, Picturebook of the Martyrs, was self-published in Spring 2004 and reprinted in Spring 2010 as a paperback and Kindle book. In 2010, she also published a book of columns and personal essays, The Art of Life, available as a paperback and Kindle book. She is in the research stage of writing a book on creative wedding planning, My Wedding, My Way: Real Women, Real Weddings, Real Budgets.
Other projects in the works include two finished poetry manuscripts she plans to have published; and a book of essays about parenting.
