Author bio:

I hate this. What do I even say about myself?

Okay, so I'm on the internet a lot. That's normal to you guys, but there are apparently people in the real world that only follow people on Instagram they know IRL and only talk to people on Facebook that they know IRL. It seems backwards to me, I'm more of a "follow people on Twitter for so long it feels as if we're friends though we've never even met and barely had a conversation"-type of person.

I like technology. I usually write parts of my NaNo on my phone, because I've actually got Word on. Some people prefer to write out their story with actual pen and paper, but that's not my style. If it's supposed to be on the computer, I like to put it there as quickly as possible. My teachers don't always get this: if we're out in nature gathering data they want me to write it on paper and THEN on the computer when I get home, not cheat and use my phone in the field.

I like books too, and once again I find myself thinking that it doesn't make me any different from most of you guys here. We write because we like to read, right? However, my sister - who is 20 - started reading books just a couple of months back, so ocne again I realize that not ALL people are like this, just us awesome NaNo-ers.

I study Biology Earth Science, and this year it won't interfere with my NaNoing. It did last year, when we were on a field trip October 30 to November 4. I don't know what my school was thinking! It was cold, and miserabel, and I had to start a new novel when I got back because the field trip sucked all the fun out of the first one. That will not happen this year!

Nah, this year it's most likely I will be distracted by the new pokémon game (although I have almost beaten it... but still!), or TV shows, or... well, that's about it. I really need to get a cool hobby. Wouldn't you find me much more interesting if I'd said "this year NaNo will be hard, because I'll be busy skydiving"? Mhmm...

I don't know what else to tell you, although I realize I have made it this far without mentioning my love for green plants (no flowers or shit), especially cycads or palm trees. I feel we should all add a cycad to our stories, because a cycad can ONLY improve your novel. I'm serious guys, they are the best things ever.

Oh, and for the record, I don't drink tea: I only drink Gunpowder.

My NaNo history:

2006 - I wrote like 2k on a story I can't even remember, so it barely counts...
2007 - Indiana Jones and the Exotic Prime Numbers
2008 - Joe Dawson's Awesome Journey Through Space, part I
2009 - Joe Dawson's Awesome Journey Through Space, part II
2010 - Fyra tidsresor och en vuvuzela (Four timetrips and a vuvuzela)
2011 - Be Cruel To Your School
