Aranel
Author bio:
My family says I've been a storyteller all my life. I take that as a compliment.
I started writing my stories down when I was about 9 or 10 years old. I've come a long way since then (I hope!), and I'm hoping that someday I'll see one of my stories published. I write in various genres - fantasy, mystery, historical - and sometimes in combinations. I love the Dares threads; I've discovered plot twists and new characters in those threads, and they're always a lot of fun.
I'm from the States, a Southern girl at heart. I lived three years in Japan, from October 2008 to October 2011. Easily the best years of my life so far. I became a person there. I met and married my husband in Japan. I became pregnant and carried our daughter for 38 weeks in Japan. She was stillborn in Japan, and we will grieve for her wherever we are. We hope to go back to Japan again in the future, when we hurt a little bit less. In the meantime, I'll keep writing and telling stories.
