Author bio:
My first year!
I'm an aspiring novel and short story author, and it always seems like life events have gotten in the way of writing-- and NaNoWriMo. Well, forget that! If life has gotten in my way, it's because I've let it, and that ends right now. I'm determined!
And if the first "novel" I have to show for that determination is a steaming pile of you-know-what, well, my first "art" was also a stick figure, so there. Where and how you start matters less than just plain starting.

At the end: For spending 21/30 days of November too ill to write a word, I think I did pretty well! I'd never have tried NaNo2011 if I had known, but I think not knowing is a great thing-- there are now words written that were never written before, and now I'm going to go finish my book, gosh darn it! This is has been the most fun writing-- and sharing writing-- that I have ever had.
I'll see you next year!
