Hello, fellow novelists! I'm Ash, a coffee-chugging music blogger and Long Island native. I spent a a handful of pre- and post-collegiate years in Alabama, which has definitely provided me with a ton of writing material...for better or worse.
I'm the kind of girl who wears her geek badge with pride. I have a random selection of anime that I really love (Hellsing, FLCL, and Heat Guy J, anyone?). I loooove comic book shops. I used to dream of becoming a nerdy-chic barista, riding to and from work on a Vespa. And I love two things more than life itself: rock music in various forms, and the written word. I started writing short stories when I was seven years old (I sometimes think I produced my best work back then!), and I haven't stopped writing yet.
I graduated from Wesleyan University in 2008, and I still find myself struggling to answer that age old question:
"What DO you do, with a B.A. in English?"
