I've been reading and writing since as long as I can remember and got into fanfiction some time ago - tried my hand at it, and have hopefully improved significantly. When not writing fanfiction for my own amusement, I always have a million and one ideas floating around in my head for an original novel. However, I tend to get distracted easily and end up starting new ones constantly without ever finishing the previous one.

2008 NaNo went splendidly with a total word count of just over 100k
2009 NaNo was a little less splendid. Around 63k, and I never finished the book :(
2010 was my final year at Uni, wrote 12,000 words worth of dissertation instead. Double :(
2011 Total word count of roughly 107k puts me at about half-way through my story. Not a victory, not a loss. Can i finish it? That remains to be seen!

2012 Going for the first draft of book two seeing as I'm almost done with the second draft of book one...we'll see...
