=====================================
I was inspired to write a couple of years after college, in part by an autobiography of an author/adventurer, but mostly by Mrs Green, a teacher at my Composition 1 night course. It was many years before I decided to do anything with that inspiration, and I credit NaNoWriMo with giving me the support of fellow WriMos that I needed to keep at it.
My hope is to publish one day, but I'm going to take my time and learn the process from rough draft (the output of NaNoWriMo), to 1st draft (ready to be read), on through to final polishing.
When I'm not noveling, I read science fiction, fantasy, and a little young adult for good measure. In the less-literary realm, I enjoy geeky games of the table-top (vs. on-line) variety, and nerd-versation with my friends. Occasionally the city feels too full, so I find a nice park on a nice day and simply enjoy the peace and "quiet" of nature.
