I'm Black Crystal Dragon - known outside of the Internet as Alice. This year will be my first NaNo with a full-time job, so that's exciting and horrifying all at once!
When not furiously scribbling down fiction, I enjoy reading, watching TV and films, and taking long walks up steep hills. My spiritual home is the Fantasy forum, though I often find myself writing probably-nonsensical science fiction in November.
This year I'm writing gritty dark fantasy in first person. I have no plot, no plan, a smidgeon of experience with first person, and no idea how I'm going to get to 50K. Honestly? I'm a little bit terrified!
I can no longer remember how I found NaNoWriMo, but I haven't looked back since! I wish everyone who reads this far all the best of luck!
