Synopsis
Natalie Arrant loves to paint. At least, she did, until an angel-turned-demon hurtled all the way from Heaven into her pool. N˚2,362 is in bad graces with both God and Satan because he isn’t exactly the best-behaved angel-turned-demon. He’s selfish and arrogant, and the only reason he’s decided to cure Natalie’s mutism is because he needs her to paint things for him. A lot of things.
He knows that Natalie has a gift: the ability to paint things into the world, bringing them to life when she wishes for them to be real. While Natalie isn’t exactly sure of his motives, she needs to do two things if she wants to keep her voice: help him fit into the human world as “Gabriel Gray,” and paint everything he wants, no questions asked. Unfortunately for her, Gabe isn’t in this for the acrylics and watercolors. Instead, he’s more focused on getting back home any way he can, and if using Natalie’s talents means that he gets what he wants, he has no qualms. And lucky for him, a new painter is needed in the world down below…
