Synopsis
Five, six, or seven short stories tied together by the logic of Heinz Kohut's theory of development beyond a belief in grandiosity and narcissism.
The MC "dreams" or has out of body experiences where he melds with other protagonists in their own situations which provide to him the opportunity to experience the Kohut stages of Creativity, Empathy, Acceptance of Transience, Humor, and perhaps Wisdom.

Okay, much too difficult. Abandoned on day 9, new novel started with much simpler goals. Was hoping to make up the lost 9 days worth of writing but I don't think I can do it, so now I'm adding the word count from both novels together. Cheating? I dunno; it's all new novel work done in November.
