I'm 19 years old and a freshman in full-time college! Everyone seems to think I'm a little nuts to try NaNoWriMo this semester, but I say "HA!" to them in my most imperious tones and strut off with a flourish. Then I sort of stagger and fall into a wall, because it is difficult to strut in red rubber boots.

My goals for this November are to get some actual NaNo swag, earn all the NaNo merit badges (specifically, the one that involves secret noveling in class), and to somehow maintain good grades and a healthy relationship with my flatmates. Much of this may involve me spending a lot of time on the couch in a nest of blankets while wearing headphones and studiously ignoring the Real World - but what must be done, can be done!
