Author bio:

Studying under the award-winning crime writer Louise Welsh, surrealist Alastair Gray and renowned poet James Kelman, Steve K Cole gained a distinction in Creative Writing from Glasgow University as part of his degree in Literature and Linguistics. Between 2005 and 2007 he was chair of the Glasgow Botanic Writers Group. His fiction, poetry, literary criticism and journalism have featured in, amongst others, Slashstroke Magazine, The Landscape Journal, Northwords, Countryside Voice and NUS Magazine. He has worked with authors and journalists such as Bill Bryson, John Sergeant, Shaun Levin and Nicholas Crane. In 2009 he was commissioned by London’s Old Operating Theatre to co-script a short film The Journey of Blood. He is currently sitting a Graduate Diploma in Creative Writing at Birkbeck University.
